Youth PROJECT:

CrossCulture

A unique global initiative co-created with the Riyadh Global Shapers Community, bringing together emerging youth leaders from diverse backgrounds to develop real-world cultural solutions. Through immersive training with cultural experts and rich cross-cultural dialogue, participants engage with shared global challenges and design impactful solutions that reflect a diversity of global perspectives.

Initiative Structure

Onboarding & Track Selection 

The initiative begins with an introduction to its vision and the cultural challenges at hand. Participants are introduced to the policy and prototype tracks, select their preferred path, form teams, and are paired with a pen pal.

Core Workshops 

A series of interactive workshops focused on cultural identity, preservation, and communication. These sessions provide tools and insights essential for addressing the identified cultural challenges.

Mentorship & Cultural Exchange

Dedicated mentorship sessions and pen-pal exchanges deepen intercultural understanding and support teams as they co-create solutions. 
Format: Online 

Solution Development 

Teams collaboratively develop policy briefs or prototypes with ongoing support from mentors and peers, progressing toward the final showcase. 
Format: Hybrid (Online & In-Person) 

Global Showcase & Activation 

The initiative concludes with a high-level in-person event where cultural solutions are presented at the Misk Global Forum before regional and global leaders.

Saudi nationals and residents of Saudi Arabia

Young professionals and students aged 18-35 with a passion for cultural exchange, leadership, and problem-solving

Full attendance is mandatory for the duration of the program. Failure to attend any session will result in disqualification from the program

We will review your application to determine its alignment with the program requirements and eligibility criteria.

Application Confirmation

Successful applicants will receive an email confirming their enrollment, along with detailed information about the program and their participation.

Group Assignment Form

Approved participants will be asked to complete an additional form to support group formation based on interests, strengths, and chosen tracks.

Frequently Asked Questions

The program runs from September to November 2025 and includes a mix of online and in-person sessions. Full attendance is mandatory across all stages.

Eligibility is open to Saudi nationals and residents aged 18–35, including students and young professionals with an interest in cultural exchange, leadership, and problem-solving. Fluency in English is required.

Participants select between two tracks: policy or prototype. Track selection takes place during onboarding and shapes the direction of team collaboration and project development.

Yes, there is no fee to participate in the program.

No, travel and accommodation for in-person components are not covered by the program. 

The program is open only to Saudi nationals and residents. International participation is not available for this cycle.
